  • Language skills
  • Extracurricular activities

We want to hear from highly-motivated individuals who are eager to learn, with solid legal knowledge and an excellent command of English. Our future professionals need to be team players, with a high level of initiative, commitment and responsibility.

You need to fill in the web form in the Send your CV section so that we can evaluate your application. It is important to make sure you fill in all required fields.

Garrigues has a rolling selection process, so you can apply anytime.

Our recruitment process is the same at all our offices. This means you can begin and complete the initial stages at any office, regardless of the office you may potentially join.

If you want to update your application because you have added new skills (languages, work experience, preparation for competitive examinations, postgraduate studies, etc.), you can access the account you previously created using our web form. You don’t need to create a new account, just update the details on your existing account and save them.

If you have begun the selection process and are at any of the stages, you can email or call the person who invited you to that stage to ask about the status of your application. If you have filled out the web form and have any questions, you can email the human resources team at your preferred office.

If you are in the 3rd year of a law degree or the 4th year of a dual degree including law, we offer internships during the academic year or as part of our Summer Program in June and July. If you are in the first years of your degree or dual degree, we offer the Job Shadowing Program, where you can shadow our professionals for a week and get first-hand insight into the day-to-day work of a Garrigues lawyer.

At Garrigues, we firmly believe that specialization is the way forward. During the selection process, we help you choose the career path that best suits your expectations and preferences. You should indicate three preferences, both for office and specialization, on the Professional Interest section of the web form.

Our selection process is a mutually beneficial exchange of information designed to find the best fit between the needs of the firm and what motivates you professionally, in terms of what area of expertise you’d like to work in.

If you have no clear preference, our Summer Program gives you the chance to get to know two different departments.

On applying, you can select your preferred office from the 31 offices in the Garrigues network, located in 12 countries across 4 continents. At Garrigues we also offer our professionals the chance to acquire international experience and training as part of the International Training Program (for more information about this program, see the Career and training section).

If you want to join one of our internal departments, create an account using the web form so that we can evaluate your application, specifying “Support personnel” under Type of position.
