Our internship programs offer you the chance to get a first-hand look at the legal professional and how we work at Garrigues. The aim of the internships is to make you feel like part of our team from the very first day. To ensure this, you will receive ongoing support and guidance from a mentor.

The internship program is aimed mainly at students in the final years of their law degree (or dual qualifications including law) and master’s degree students.

Internships as part of the Master’s Degree for Access to the Legal Profession: this program is tailored to the master’s degree timetable.

Summer internships: generally in June, July or September.

Internships during term time: half-day internships that are compatible with your academic studies.

The internship experience was what made me decide to embark on a legal career

Natalia Gutiérrez

“Just after finishing my law degree and a year before finishing my second degree, I  had  the  opportunity  to  work  as  an  intern  over  the  summer  in  Garrigues’ corporate/commercial law department. For me, the experience was what made me decide to embark on a legal career.

From the very start, the people you get the chance to work with make you feel like one of the team, mentoring you and including you in the engagements they’re  working  on.  It’s  an  opportunity  to  continue  studying  the  law  while experiencing  the  practical  side  of  what  you’ve  been  studying  and  working together with seasoned legal professionals. Without a doubt, it’s something I would recommend and I encourage anyone thinking about a legal career to do it”.
