Garrigues is the Best European Tax Firm according to ‘International Tax Review’

(21/06/2004) Garrigues has won recognition as the best European firm according to the Survey published annually by ‘International Tax Review’ on the market for tax services in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA Survey).
Opinions from over 200 executives from all around the world in charge of selecting tax advisers for their respective companies were received in the Survey. All of them filled out a questionnaire on tax services in the EMEA region analyzing spending by companies on tax services and their level of satisfaction. Garrigues received the most mentions in the ‘Best Tax Firm in Europe’ section.
José Palacios, a partner at Garrigues, also received a special mention as one of the most highly regarded tax advisers in continental Europe. The Survey only names nine practitioners in the whole of Europe who were singled out by tax executives at companies based on three criteria: technical knowledge, ability to respond, and reputation.
