Ferran Escayola, new director of Garrigues’ New York office
Garrigues has named Ferran Escayola, partner of the Firm’s Corporate/Commercial Department, as the new director of its New York office. He takes up the baton from Xavier Ruiz.
Ferran Escayola has a law degree from Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona (majoring in EU Law on the Jean Monet program), an LL.M. from the Howard Law School (Washington DC) (Honors) and has pursued studies at Harvard Law School (Boston). Since joining the Firm, he has practiced at the Barcelona office, where he was joint head of Garrigues' US Desk. He specializes in Corporate M&A, Private Equity and Acquisition Financing.
In addition to his wealth of professional experience, he has teaching experience as a lecturer on the Master’s in International Business at Universidad Pompeu Fabra and on the Master’s Degree in International Management at Escuela Superior de Comercio Internacional (ESCI-UPF).
