Establishment of the minimum requirements for the protection of employees against the risks to safety and health due to exposure to electromagnetic fields at work

Today was published the Law no. 64/2017, of 7th August, which establishes the minimum requirements for the protection of employees against the risks to safety and health to which the latter are or may be subject due to exposure to electromagnetic fields at work, and transposes the  Directive 2013/35 / EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26th June 2013 into the internal legal order, in relation to the minimum health and safety requirements concerning the exposure of employees to the risks arising from physical agents (electromagnetic fields). The present law applies to all direct biophysical effects and to all known indirect effects caused by electromagnetic fields and enters into force on 1st September 2017.
