Antonio Garrigues, Honorary Ambassador of the ‘Spain Brand’
Antonio Garrigues, Chairman of law firm Garrigues, has been named an Honorary Ambassador of the ‘Spain Brand’ at the fourth biennial award ceremony of appointments to this post, celebrated this morning in Madrid.
The event took place at the Mapfre Convention Centre in Madrid, and amongst those who attended were the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Trinidad Jiménez, and the Minister of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, Miguel Sebastián.
The aim of these awards is to give public recognition to those persons, businesses and institutions which have contributed the most, throughout the course of their career, to the strengthening of Spain’s global image. The awards fall into seven different categories and are presented with the blessing of the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
