Since 2005, Antonio Entrena has been a partner in the Litigation and Arbitration Department of Garrigues, where he has pursued his professional career since 1995. Before joining, he completed a scholarship granted by Fundación Empresa Pública, which he combined with training at a law firm.
He specializes in civil and commercial litigation and has extensive experience in matters relating to obligations and contracts, noncontractual liability, corporate affairs, unfair competition, directors’ liability, successions and rights in rem, to name but a few.
As regards his industry experience, Antonio Entrena is an expert in litigation related to, inter alia, the finance, banking, construction and insurance industries as well as M&A transactions and private equity. He is the go-to lawyer for some of the largest financial institutions and companies in Spain and abroad.
He has been named as one of the top civil and commercial litigation experts in a number of directories such as Best Lawyers.
For a number of years, he has been an assistant lecturer on litigation practice at Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE E-1 and E-3). He also teaches at Centro de Estudios Garrigues and, since 2012, at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid on its Master’s course giving access to the legal profession. He has spoken at numerous conferences at other universities such as Universidad San Pablo CEU and CUNEF.
He is a member of Madrid Bar Association.
